In the midst of very rapid technological developments, the industrial world is also facing an industrial revolution that continues to grow. In the food industry, high productivity and efficiency in production have always been needed. In order to meet these needs, the Food Technology Study Program of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang is committed to educating and directing students to become professionals and entrepreneurs in the field of safe and halal food by utilizing biological sources, from animal, vegetable, and biotechnology from food ingredients. We also strive to improve upstream and downstream production processes in order to support Indonesian food security.

To achieve this, we always maintain the quality of the teaching and learning process, as well as the competence of graduates by involving alumni and alumni users (stakeholders) to develop the learning system and the curriculum. We obtained some research funding to develop knowledge in the field of safe, healthy, and halal food. We also hold several collaborations with associations, stakeholders, and research centers, to apply the research and education that we organize.

The Food Technology Study Program, University of Muhammadiyah Malang invites high school/vocational high school graduates (or equivalent) to join us. Let's create Indonesia's food security by continuing to develop safe, healthy, and halal food.
