UMM Bakery

UMM Bakery is a business unit of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang which is located in Edu Park (park behind Campus III Malang). Initially, UMM Bakery was established from a grant from the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education (Kemenristekdikti) due to the passing of a proposal in the Science and Technology program for Campus Creativity and Innovation (IbKIK) by Mr. Dr.Ir's team. Damat, M.P., IPM (Food Technology Lecturer UMM).

Starting as a unit for student practicums, UMM Bakery developed into a business unit and a Food Technology pilot plant. UMM Bakery provides commercial products in the form of bread which is the result of the research and development team and has a halal certificate.

The latest, UMM Bakery serves brioche bread, in accordance with the launching of the Center of Excellence "Class Cocoa" from UMM Food Technology Study Program. Brioche bread is an artisan bread with a distinctive cocoa filling. In addition, UMM Bakery provides a variety of breads with various flavors and types.
